Bas Gevers (b.1970, The Netherlands) is based in Amstelveen. Growing up abroad from an early age, since returning back to his country of birth in his early thirties, he's interested in exploring the concept of 'home' and how this defines our sense of identity and our sense of belonging.
He's also keen to explore the impact we have on our surroundings, our complex relationships with nature and our need for onward and upward expansion as we population growth continues in a world of finite space and resources.
